Christmas Delivery Information (2023)
  • Parcel delivery orders required for Christmas should be placed before the 20th December. We cannot guarantee delivery beyond this date. 
  • Parcel delivery orders placed between 20th and 27th should be processed and dispatched by the 27th of December with delivery by the 28th at the latest.* All other orders will be processed and dispatched 8th of January.
  • We cannot facilitate Bulky & Heavy delivery between the 22nd and the 8th of January. Any orders placed for these items (standard 3 - 5 day delivery) will be processed on the 8th for dispatch. Delivery will be between the 9th and 16th of January depending on availability.
  • Our branches in Inverurie, Stonehaven and Westhill will close on the evening of the Friday 22nd of December and reopen again on Monday 8th of January. 
  • Click and collect orders for any of these branches placed during this period will be processed as soon as possible on the 8th of January for collection. PLEASE WAIT FOR YOUR CONFIRMATION BEFORE ARRIVING AT YOUR CHOSEN BRANCH.
  • GPH Home And Garden, as well as our trade yard in Ellon, will be open throughout the Christmas period.
    • Closed: 4pm 24th December reopening 8am 27th December
    • Closed: 5pm 31st December reopening 8am 3rd January.
  • Click and collect orders for Ellon will be processed as soon as possible, we will still honour our 2pm same day collection where staffing and stock allow but would advise customers to PLEASE WAIT FOR YOUR CONFIRMATION BEFORE ARRIVING AT YOUR CHOSEN BRANCH.

Delivery Information

    1. Delivery
      • Delivery Costs.
        • The cost of your delivery will be displayed to you at checkout. These costs are based on a variety of factors including: location, size, weight, speed and means of delivery. We endeavour to keep our costs as competitive as possible. If you have any queries please get in touch via our contact page here.
        • Your order will be processed and delivered without undue delay, no later than 30 days after your order has been placed.
        • Please allow for up to 3-5 working days for delivery following the dispatch of your order. 
      • Courier Services.
        • Depending on your order it may be delivered by one of our partner courier services. If this is the case your order details, including a contact phone number, will be passed to this service for the purpose of fulfilling your order delivery.
      • Local Delivery
        • Some of our products are unfortunately unavailable for UK wide delivery. These will be usually be marked as "Local Delivery Only" and will not allow checkout with postcodes other than AB. 
      • Supplied Direct 
        • Some of our products are not held in stock by GPH Builders Merchants ltd. These are fulfilled either directly by a supplier or by a distributor for a brand. The delivery time and method is chosen by this method and relayed to our customer on the checkout page. In the unlikely event of a problem with delivery or courier, this can be resolved directly with the courier or through ourselves on your behalf.
      • If you’re not home.
        • If no one is available to receive the order our courier may leave your item in safe place. Otherwise you will receive either a note asking you to rearrange delivery or, for larger items, we will call you to rearrange delivery.
      • If you do not rearrange delivery.
        • If you do not collect your ordered items/rearrange delivery we may charge you for further delivery/storage costs. If at this point you are still unable to accept delivery and every available effort has been made to fulfil the order, then we may end the contract. At this point we will refund the cost of your goods and may pursue compensation from you to cover our delivery costs.
      • Your Rights.
        • You have the right to end this contract should we refuse to deliver the goods, if we deliver out with a specifically agreed essential delivery window.
      • Supply Suspension. We reserve the right to pause indefinitely the delivery of goods that:
        • Are affected by changing laws and regulations
        • Are affected by defect, technical flaws/changes and or problems
        • Are affected by any quality issues
        • If this is the case, you will receive a full refund as soon as possible.
        • We are not responsible for delays outside of our control. If the supply of your order is delayed by an event out with our control we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know.
    2. Collection by You.
      • Collection Time.
        • Our click and collect service allows you to place an order and collect on the same/next day. Orders placed before 2pm should be available same day if stock allows. (NOTE: This service is only available mon-fri. Orders placed on saturday may be available same day but is not guaranteed.)
        • You will receieve an email/SMS when your order is ready for collection. Please to do not arrive before you have received your confirmation as we cannot guarantee your order will be ready.
      • Stock Levels.
        • The website should reflect our stock accurately. Should an error occur and your chosen click and collect point be out of stock we will inform you as soon as possible. If your item is in stock elsewhere then we may ask you to attend your click and collect at that location if you require a quicker service. Otherwise we may ask you to return the next day at a specific time for pick up.
      • Partial Orders.
        • Should one of a number of items be unavailable we will allow collection of the items available at the original time. We will notify you of any changes.
    3. COVID-19
      • Unexpected Changes.
        • Due to the ongoing supply chain issues exacerbated by the COVID-19 Pandemic some of our products may experience unexpectedly long lead times, delayed delivery, and fluctuating stock levels. We will endevour to make sure only the most accurate information is available on our website. If any issue will affect your order we will inform you as soon your order is processed.
